1. Delicate Monsters somos todos nosotros. En cada uno de nuestros corazones, de nuestra experiencia, de la historia que vivimos y de la que bebemos en la acumulación de conocimientos habitan los Monstruos.
2. Monstruos son aquellas formas de explicación que la historia ha dado a lo inexplicable por la Razón o el conocimiento humano. Allí donde no hay forma, el humano necesita poner una que explique, o que al menos sirva para dar una figura informe, un nombre a lo innombrable.
3. ¡Ah!, cómo explicaban los griegos los fenómenos inexplicables de la naturaleza: con el mito. ¡Ah!, cómo explicaban los medievales los fenómenos inexplicables de la naturaleza: con el monstruo malvado enviado por la divinidad como forma de mostrar su poder. ¡Ah!, cómo explicaban los renacentistas los vacíos que quedaban en los mapas cartográficos allá donde estaba lo inexplorado: con un monstruo, quizás dragón, quizás híbrido. ¡Ah!, cómo explicaban los ilustrados aquello que escapaba a la Razón y al conocimiento y clasificaciones médicas: con un monstruo.
4. Dentro de los monstruos en la historia humana los hay delicados. Delicados en el sentido de que, a pesar de ser formas de explicar lo informe, no siempre tienen que hacer alusión a una asociación entre desconocido y malvado.
5. Y estos monstruos delicados acompañan lo humano, la historia, la experiencia y acumulación de conocimientos de una forma convivial, como si se tratara de un pacto social entre lo desconocido y la experiencia.
6. Delicate Monsters se ha creado con la intención de tratar sobre cuáles han sido las formas de lo monstruoso en general, haciendo hincapié especialmente en las formas delicadas, tanto de las sociedades como de sus individuos.
7. Delicate Monsters partimos siendo dos: Nieves Soriano y Gala Fernández. Sin embargo, trata este espacio de ser plural en el que, partiendo de la libertad, la creatividad y la fusión de disciplinas, puedan ser reflejados las formas de los monstruoso que habitan tanto en nuestro imaginario personal como colectivo.
8. Queda abierta la colaboración para cualquier persona sin dependencia ni condición, sin limitación de campos ni tipos de arte o escritura, que trate de mostrar cómo son los espacios sombríos y cuál es el grado de delicadeza de los mismos.

Ah!, how they explained in the Enlightenment what Reason and what knowledge or medical classifications could not explain: with a monster.
4. Within the human history there are some monsters that are delicate. Delicate in the sense that, in spite of being forms to explain it what does not have any, they do not always must associate the stranger and the evildoer.
5. And those delicate monsters accompany the human history, the experience and the accumulation of knowledge with a convivial form, as if it was a social pact between the stranger and the experience.
6. Delicate Monsters has been created with the intention to show what have been the forms of the monstruosity in general, doing emphasis in the delicate forms, in societies or individuals.
7. Delicate Monsters started being two: Nieves Soriano and Gala Fernandez. Nevertheless, this place tries to be plural starting from freedom, creativity and fusion of disciplines to reflection of the forms of monstruosity that inhabit in our imaginary personnel or collective.
8. It is opened to contributions or collaborations for any person without dependency or condition, without limitation of fields nor types of art or writing, to try to show how the shady spaces are and which is the degree of delicacy of them.
